Chocolate Chip Protein Bites

These Chocolate Chip Protein Bites ROCK!! Can you guess what my secret ingredient is? That would be Young Living's BRAND NEW Vanilla Spice Protein Powder. My husband and I have tried every protein powder under the sun. We love to drink protein smoothies. Our kids do too. However, trying to find a good quality protein powder that doesn't taste like dirt
and doesn't have horrible ingredients is a challenge. I was so excited when Young Living announced at Convention this year they had come out with their own protein powder. Yay!! Not only is it the BEST TASTING Protein powder we have ever had but it is has an AWESOME ingredient list too.

(From Young Living's Website)

I am always trying to sneak a little more protein in our food. And using protein powder is a great way to do that.  I whipped together these little Chocolate Chip Protein Bites yesterday and boy are they a hit in our house. We all love them, including my 2 year old. They would be great to throw in your kiddos lunch boxes. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!!

Chocolate Chip Protein Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Organic Quick Cooking Oats
  • 2 Tablespoons Organic Ground Flax Seed (Find HERE)
  • 3 scoops of Young Living's Pure Protein Complete- Vanilla Spice (More info about Young Living HERE)
  • 1 cup Organic Peanut Butter (you can sub any nut butter you would like)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey (Find HERE)
  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips (Find HERE)

Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, mix your oats, flax seed and protein powder together using a fork.
  2. Add your peanut butter and honey.
  3. Mix to incorporate.
  4. Then add your almond milk. You may need to adjust the amount of almond milk, as you will need your "dough" to be moldable but not too moist.
  5. Lastly add your chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
  6. Shape into the size balls you would like and place on parchment paper. Leave set for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Store in a container in the fridge.
  8. Enjoy!!

I would love the hear what you think of these. Leave me a comment below.

Many Blessings,

Heather
