DIY Thieves "Soft Scrub"

If you are not using Young Living's Thieves Household Cleaner for your entire house, you really are missing out. Nothing cleans like it and nothing smells better. I get compliments on how wonderful my house smells all the time. It is literally the most versatile cleaner on the market. But what is even better, is that it's non-toxic. Yep, that's right. It works AND it's completely non-toxic!! Win, win... right?

Over the last year I have slowly been removing toxic chemicals from our house. We are surrounded by them daily. They are in our cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, candles/scented plug-ins, skin care products, pet products... The list goes on and on. I really wanted to detox our home. And quite frankly, replacing our household cleaners was the easiest thing to do. Especially when all I need to buy is one container. It does it all!

Typically I can use my Thieves Household Cleaner to clean most everything, but sometimes I need a little more "muscle." So in those instances, I use my Homemade Thieves "Soft Scrub". I use it on soap scum, to clean tile grout, to remove pesky stains on the stove top, "marker miss haps" from my little one. You could really use it on just about anything. Give it a shot. It's so easy to make, and this recipe will last you a while. I'd love to hear how it works for you in the comments below. Also if you are interested in creating a healthy, non-toxic home, you can join the class I have going on right now HERE.

What you will need:
  • 3 cups Baking Soda
  • 3/4 cup Thieves Household Cleaner
  • 1 Tbsp Distilled Vinegar
  • 30 drops Young Living Lemon Essential oil (Learn more about why we only use Young Living Essential Oils HERE)
  • Sicker Paper for label making- find here (My label is available below)

Directions:
  1. In a large glass bowl, add your Thieves Household cleaner, vinegar and Lemon essential oil
  2. Then slowly add your baking soda, stirring to combine.
  3. Once completely mixed through, transfer to your desired container. I recycled my old honey jar. It fit perfectly. You could even use an old soap dish bottle. (However you may need to add a bit of water to thin it enough to squirt through the top)
  4. Use wherever a little more scrubbing action is needed.

  5. I made this up this morning and my tub is mostly white again. There are a few area that wouldn't come up. I'll make some more and let it set. Right now, I just can't wait to take a shower in my clean tub!

  7. I want to hug you!! We moved into our house 1 year ago. Tried every toxic chemical to clean our shower, it had this sticky residue on it that we couldn't get off(the previous owner was a HUGE smoker in the house for 30 years). I became a YL distributor recently and my upline posted your link. I tried it today, and AMAZING! I didnt have to scrub hard, it practically wipped away! If I could post a picture I would!! My husband told me this totally is work the PSK! Lol
