After Sun Spray

I am getting ready for summer. So that means I am making summer DIY stuff with my oils. How about you? We love to spend A LOT of time outside during the summer. But that also means we are out in the sun too. I do try to keep us covered in sunscreen, especially at the soccer fields or pool. But
sometimes, our skin still suffers. Young Living's LavaDerm Cooling Mist is great for cooling and soothing skin. However it's out of stock right now. So I thought I would make up my own. It's super easy and fast to make.

Ingredients:
  • 100% Aloe Vera Gel (Find it HERE)
  • Distilled Water
  • 20 drops Young Living Lavender Essential Oil (You can find out more HERE)
Directions:
  1. Fill a 4oz spray bottle (Find one HERE) half way with Aloe Vera Gel.
  2. Add 20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil.
  3. Fill remainder of the bottle almost to the top with distilled water.
  4. Attach spray nozzle. Shake well.
  5. Spray to affected area.
  6. Reapply as often as needed.
  7. Shake well before each use.
Aloe Vera is well-known for its skin healing properties, and is used often in cosmetic industry. It helps relieve discomfort from from wounds and has a soothing effect when applied to skin. Due to it's high water content (over 99% water) it is a great way to hydrate, moisturize and rejuvenate skin. Aloe is also an emollient, helping to soften skin.

Lavender is amazing for supporting skin health!! It calms and soothes skin. We use it often in our home. I also love it my DIY Beach Cream

I hope find much relief when using this spray. It's a must for summertime!!
